Air India Fined 10 Lakh For Not Detailing second Peeing Occurrence On Flight

New Delhi: Air India has been fined ₹ 10 lakh by the flying controller DGCA for not revealing an episode last month when a man supposedly peed on a sweeping on the empty seat of a lady in a Paris-Delhi flight.
The Directorate General of Common Avionics, or DGCA, said the Goodbye run aircraft deferred in alluding the December 6 episode to its inside advisory group.

This was the second episode of a man peeing on a traveler’s seat on board an Air India flight, after one more man purportedly peed on a lady co-traveler in a New York-Delhi trip on November 26.

Air India had not announced the occurrences to the aeronautics controller before they came in the media.

The DGCA was told about the December 6 episode solely after it requested subtleties from Air India.

Air India “didn’t report the episode until DGCA looked for the occurrence report from them on 05.01.2023,” the DGCA had said in an explanation.

The aircraft’s answer clarified that it didn’t follow “arrangements connected with treatment of uncontrollable travelers according to DGCA,” the assertion said.
