Here’s a recipe for a smoothie that you can make at home with a few vegetables for vasodilation and optimal blood supply or oxygen supply to your lungs.

In today’s segment of Build Your Immunity to Fight Covid, IndiaToday.in spoke to dietitian Chayanika Sarmah from Noida, who recommended a smoothie that you can make at home with a few vegetables for vasodilation and optimal blood supply or oxygen supply to your lungs.

1 beetroot

2 tomatoes

1 lemon

HOW TO MAKE BEETROOT SMOOTHIE?

Wash one beetroot and cut into small pieces. Deseed two tomatoes and cut them into pieces. Put it and tomato slices in a mixer and grind till you get a fine smoothie. Pour into a glass and add some lemon juice to it and stir.

Drink the beetroot smoothie twice daily.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF DRINKING BEETROOT SMOOTHIE?

Beetroot smoothie is a highly anti-inflammatory drink and also reduces blood pressure naturally. It is also an excellent drink for athletes and helps boost immunity. They are a great source of fibre, folate (vitamin B9), manganese, potassium, iron, and vitamin C. It helps improve blood flow as well.
