New Delhi: Over 20 locations in Delhi and its adjoining areas, including the residence of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, were searched this morning by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
“CBI is here at my residence. I will cooperate with the probe agency, they will not find anything against me,” Manish Sisodia tweeted as news of the raids emerged.
The raids are being conducted in connection with the alleged irregularities in the Delhi Excise Policy.

Delhi Police has detained several workers who had gathered outside the house of Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s house. One worker claimed that they did not raise any slogans or misbehave with the police.

Exuding confidence that nothing will be found against Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the raids. Raghav Chadha said his party leaders will fully cooperate with the probe agency.
“The CBI raided the residence of Manish Sisodia at the behest of the BJP on the day when Delhi education model was appreciated and his photo appeared on the front page of America’s biggest newspaper NYT,” Mr Chadha tweeted.
