Good news for Delhiites. According to sources, the first shipment of Corona vaccine will reach Delhi in the last week of December. However, it is not clear which company will be the first batch of Corona vaccine. No statement has been officially issued by the government or administration regarding this.
There is a preparation to keep the corona vaccine in Delhi’s Rajiv Gandhi Hospital. The new cold storage is ready. In the first phase of vaccination, health workers are ready to apply the vaccine. Two places in Delhi have been identified for the Corona Vaccine Center. The name of Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital is also included in this.
Preparations are being made to provide corona vaccine to 600 places within Delhi through cold storage. Deep freezers, coolers, cold storage boxes, and other essential items of vaccine were installed on the ground floor and first floor of Rajiv Gandhi Hospital. All these preparations have been completed by 15 December.
In cold storage, freezers have been installed for different vaccines at temperatures between -40 degrees, -20 degrees and 2 to 8 degrees. As of now, Pfizer India, Serum Institute Oxford Vaccine Kovishield and Bharat Biotech are in the race to get permission for use in the case of covicin emergency.
Dr. BL Sherwal, director of Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital, said that doctors, health workers and others will be present as a precaution during vaccination. Safety will also be arranged for the correct delivery of the vaccine. So that the vaccine can reach the right hands and people do not have problems.
