Digital Cheats Hoodwink Mumbai Understudy Of ₹ 6 Lakh

Mumbai: A 21-year-old understudy from rural Bandra lost more than ₹ 6 lakh to digital fraudsters who tricked her with income sans work, an authority said on Tuesday.
The complainant on Walk 19 got a Wire message from an individual who distinguished himself as one Narenkumar and said she could bring in cash by tapping on a film related site, the authority said. He then, at that point, imparted a connection to her.

The complainant got some cash in her financial balance after she adhered to his guidelines. A couple of days after the fact, a lady reached out to her and proposed to pay attractive returns on the off chance that she saved cash and did likewise that she had done before, he said.

Last week, the understudy paid more than ₹ 6 lakh yet didn’t get the normal returns. At the point when the man and lady didn’t answer her messages, she moved toward the Bandra police headquarters with a grumbling, he said.

A case has been enlisted and a test is in progress, the authority added.
