Fernando Alonso Reinstated to Third at Saudi Arabian Grand Prix

A two-time Formula 1 world champion, Fernando Alonso was born in Oviedo, Asturias. He started racing karts early before progressing to open-wheel car racing. He later dropped out of school to focus on his F1 career.

Alonso won two driver’s championships with Renault in 2005 and 2006 and became the youngest polesitter, race winner, and world champion in F1 history. He started his F1 career in 2001 with Minardi and later joined Renault, McLaren, and Scuderia Ferrari. He has won 32 races and 22 pole positions during his time on the grid. 

However, his career suffered a major setback when he failed to secure another title at Ferrari in 2011.
