The opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics 2020 is scheduled for today and in order to commemorate it, Google Doodle launched an anime-inspired game and named it Doodle Champion Island Games.
On the Google Doodle page, the Doodle Champion Island has been described as a “world filled with seven sports mini-games, legendary opponents, dozens of daring side quests.”
The games listed on the Google Doodle page are table tennis, skateboarding, archery, rugby, swimming, climbing and marathon.
HOW TO PLAY?
As described on the Google Doodle page, “Welcome to the Doodle Champion Island Games! Over the coming weeks, join calico (c)athlete Lucky as she explores Doodle Champion Island: a world filled with seven sports mini-games, legendary opponents, dozens of daring side quests, and a few new (and old) friends. Her ultimate goal? Defeat each sport Champion to collect all seven sacred scrolls and complete extra hidden challenges across Champion Island in the purrr-ocess.”
