Inspired by the glass bridge in China, a similar bridge is being constructed at Rajgir in Bihar’s Nalanda district. Apart from the glass bridge, Nature and Zoo Safari is also in the making in the area.
As Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inspected the progress of the work in Rajgir over the weekend, pictures of the glass bridge made its way to social media and trended furiously on the internet.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO CONSTRUCT THE GLASS BRIDGE IN BIHAR?
Construction of the glass bridge is underway in Bihar and Nitish Kumar has asked officials to complete it by March 2021, news agency ANI reports. Several outdoor activities will be included in the Nature Safari Park as well.
“Nature Safari is being built in such a way that people of all ages will be able to enjoy the mountains and trees. All security arrangements will be there. The project will be completed by March 2021,” Nitish Kumar told ANI.

WHAT IS THE LENGTH OF THE GLASS BRIDGE IN BIHAR?
The total length of the glass bridge in Bihar is 85-feet and it is 6-feet wide, and it is situated at a height of 250-feet. “It is inspired by the famous glass bridge in China. It will be the first glass in Bihar and the second in the country,” he said.
