‘I’ll spend the entire financial plan on Babar Azam’: James Anderson after Pakistan captain went unsold in The Hundred draft

Britain extraordinary James Anderson is astounded that Pakistan captain Babar Azam went unsold in the current year’s The Hundred draft.

While talking in BBC’s Tailender Digital recording, Anderson said that he would have spent the “whole financial plan” to ensure that Babar Azam was in his side.

“The main thing I can figure is that there could have been an accessibility issue, which is the reason he wasn’t picked.”

Babar, who entered the draft with a hold cost of £100,000, tracked down no takers in the draft.

In last year’s draft also, Babar was not picked as the competition conflicted with Pakistan’s global responsibilities. Babar was recorded at the hold cost of £125,000.
