The Indian Premier League 2023 has arrived. This year’s edition will surely be one of the most exciting yet. The tournament will kick off today, i.e., March 31, with defending champions Gujarat Titans facing Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Schedule

The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) kicks off today, with a match between defending champions Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. A tournament is a cash-rich event that draws millions of fans worldwide. Here is the IPL 2023 schedule for your reference:

As with previous editions, the IPL is a home-and-away format in which each team plays seven matches at their home ground and seven at the other side’s home ground during the league stage. Seventy league matches will be played across 12 venues during the competition, including 18 double-headers.

Matches

Venues

This year, the league has reverted back to its home-and-away format after three years. All ten teams will play seven home games and seven away matches during the league stage.

They had a good auction and purchased 10 players in it. One of the most significant purchases was West Indian keeper-batsman Nicholas Pooran, who they shelled out Rs 16 crore to buy.

Gujarat Titans Full Squad

Defending champions Gujarat Titans kept the core of their 2022 team intact for the IPL 2023 auction. However, the defending champions made some smart acquisitions at the auction.
