Before the match against CSK, Pollard had registered 3 single-digit scores in his 6 outings and he was yet to hit a fifty in this season.

Mumbai all-rounder Hardik Pandya hailed Pollard after his whirlwind knock, saying that the might West Indian hits sixes for fun.

“The greatest win for us as Mumbai Indians boys. We have to tell you guys that Kieron Pollard hits sixes for breakfast, but if he takes a wicket or he bowls well, for him it’s like giving candy to a baby.

“He’s the happiest of all (when he picks a wicket). He is livid with himself when he leaks runs because he takes his bowling to heart,” Hardik said during a candid chat with his elder brother after the match.

While Krunal Pandya complained that people don’t talk much about Pollard but “he is a GOAT”.

Special mention to Polly, people don’t talk about him that much but according to us, he is GOAT. He is one of the greatest of all time. There are only a few people who have done pulled off a chase like this but Pollard has done it so many times,” Krunal said.
