Options And Legs Limited, 14-Year-Old Assaulted, 2 Captured: Assam Police

Dibrugarh (Assam): Two individuals have been captured for purportedly assaulting a minor young lady who was found oblivious in Dibrugarh, the police informed on Sunday.
Dibrugarh SP Shwetank Mishra let correspondents know that the two denounced have been recognized as Bhaijan Ali and Safar Ali.

“Two individuals were captured in Dibrugarh for purportedly assaulting a 14-year-old young lady. The denounced have been recognized as Bhaijan Ali and Safar Ali. The minor young lady was found oblivious close to the Athabari tea garden,” he said.

The SP likewise said that the denounced will be arraigned under Area 376 of the POCSO Act, 2012

“Her hands and legs were bound with a rope, and it is thought that she was assaulted. She had been absent since February 3. The charged will be arraigned under Segment 376 of the POCSO Act, 2012,” he further said.
