Realme finally launched the Q3 series in China. There are three smartphones in the series, the Q3 Pro, the Q3, and the Q3i. At the launch event, Realme said that the new Q3 series brings a balance between the specifications and the price, which is also why it sits lower than the GT series does. Realme’s smartphone portfolio is already very confusing and the new Q3 series does not help make things clear. But, for what it is worth, buyers in China have three new phones they can choose from.

The new Realme Q3 series phones are big on display and battery specifications. That is why two smartphones — the Q3 Pro and the Q3 — have a 120Hz display while the least expensive Q3i has a 90Hz display. Overall, the customer of any phone from this range will get to experience the super-smooth interface when scrolling or playing games. All three phones also support 5G but Realme has used different processors for that on each phone. Before I tell you the specifications of the three phones, let us get the price information out of our way first.

Realme Q3 Pro, Q3, and Q3i price

Realme Q3 Pro starts at CNY 1,799, which is roughly Rs 20,800 and comes in Electric Blue, Firefly, and Gravity Black colours. The Realme Q3 prices start at CNY 1,299, which translates to roughly Rs 15,000. This phone comes in Psychedelic Silver and Sci-Fi Black colourways. And finally, the Realme Q3i comes in Light Blue and Particle Ash colourways for a starting price of CNY 999, which is around Rs 11,600.

Realme has not said anything on when it will bring these phones to India or global markets.

Realme Q3 Pro, Q3, and Q3i specifications

Realme Q3 Pro is the highest-end phone in the lot. It comes with a 6.43-inch Full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone uses a MediaTek Dimensity 1100 processor inside paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone runs Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 and has an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone has a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel camera with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.3 lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera on the back. You have a 16-megapixel camera inside the display punch-hole for selfies and video calls. Realme Q3 Pro even has a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone has a 4500mAh battery inside that supports 30W fast charging.

Coming to the Realme Q3, this smartphone uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor inside. It also has a 120Hz display, but it is a bit bigger at 6.5-inches. The display supports Full-HD+ resolution. You get up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage on the phone. The cameras on the Realme Q3 are the same as the Q3 Pro but instead of the 64-megapixel camera, you get a 48-megapixel unit on this one. The selfie camera is also the same. The Realme Q3 uses a 5000mAh battery with 30W fast charging. And yes, you have the 3.5mm headphone jack on this phone, as well.

Lastly, the Realme Q3i, the phone that costs the least, has a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ display but with a 90Hz refresh rate. And it will not be much different from the 120Hz in daily usage. The Realme Q3i uses a MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor inside. This processor also powers the Realme 8 5G that the company launched in India earlier this week. You get up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. For photography, you have a 48-megapixel main camera, a monochrome camera, and a macro camera on the back of the phone, while, for selfies, there is a 16-megapixel camera. This phone, too, has a 5000mAh battery, but it supports only 18W fast charging. Realme Q3i also has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
