India Legends captain Sachin Tendulkar showcased batting masterclass all over again and smashed 42-ball 65 against West Indies Legends to bring up his 2nd consecutive fifty in the ongoing World Safety World Series on Wednesday.

India were given the tough task of batting first and setting a competitive target against Brian Lara’s side and the former opener did just what everyone in the world expected from him. He played some exquisite shots all around the park to bring everyone in the Raipur stadium on their feet.

47-year-old Sachin Tendulkar smashed six fours and 3 sixes during his whirlwind knock which also included a very good looking pull shot.

The batting great had scored 60 off 37 in India Legends’ last league match against South Africa Legends. Tendulkar had hit 9 boundaries and a maximum during that equally impressive knock.

After Sachin Tendulkar’s departure in the 15 over, hard-hitting batsmen Yuvraj Singh and Yusuf Pathan took India Legends’ total to 218/ 3 in 20 overs. The total is the highest in the history of the tournament.

Yuvraj Singh smashed 6 sixes to return unbeaten on 49 off 20, while Pathan changed as many as four bats to score 37 not out off 20 balls.
