“Navalny,” a film that looks at the harming of imprisoned Russian dissenter Alexei Navalny, on Sunday won the Oscar for best narrative element.
Canadian chief Daniel Roher’s film checks out at the political ascent of Navalny, the most conspicuous rival of Russian President Vladimir Putin, his harming with the nerve specialist Novichok out traveling to Siberia in 2020 and the ensuing test.

The film, which debuted at the Sundance film celebration in January 2022, won a BAFTA last month.
It outclassed “All That Relaxes,” “All the Magnificence and the Slaughter,” “Fire of Adoration” and “A House Made of Splinters.”
