Senior India spinner R Ashwin accepts Steve Smith has the captaincy keenness and it’s a perfect pair. Aswin’s remark came on Wednesday night after Smith-drove Australia crushed India in the third and last ODI by 21 runs.

Dazzled with Smith’s authority, Ashwin took to Twitter and stated, “Steve Smith and captaincy is a perfect pair.” In spite of their full-time captain Pat Cummins’ nonattendance, Australia’s capacity to immediately reset, bounce back and at last rule was in plain view again in India where they fixed the series with a 21-run win in Chennai on Wednesday under substitute captain Steve Smith.
