Commuters in the national capital are currently having a lot of trouble getting in and around the city on account of the farmers’ protest. Of course, police has been deployed across Delhi borders in order to help commuters and others. However, with the protest now at the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border, the authorities were compelled to close down the Delhi Noida link road yesterday, which is an important route that helps connect Delhi with the state of Uttar Pradesh. Traffic movement was eventually restored last night.
However, as farmers continue the protesting against the new farm laws with the sit-in at the Noida-Delhi border, authorities have decided to keep the key Delhi-Noida Chilla route connecting Uttar Pradesh with Delhi shut yet again.
Traffic Alert
The chilla border on Noida link road is closed for traffic from Noida to Delhi due to farmers protests near Gautam Budh Dwar. People are advised to avoid Noida link road for coming to Delhi and use DND.

Authorities were also seen bracing for shutting down the Delhi – Noida – Delhi flyway, commonly referred to as simply the DND flyway last night. However, traffic movement on this route continues; in fact, with other key Delhi Noida route shut off for travel, commuters are being advised to take the DND flyover to get to either Delhi or Noida.
And with traffic now being re-routed to DND, there is obviously plenty of congestion on this route.
To cut a long story short, if you are planning to travel from Delhi to Noida, your two options for routes are the following: Take the DND flyway or go through Kalindi Kunj. And as noted above, traffic on these routes is congested and moving along rather slowly on account of the Delhi-Chilla border being shut off at the moment.
