Kolkata: Following a discussion north of three ancestral ladies purportedly compelled to do ‘dandavat parikrama’ prior to joining the Trinamool Congress from the BJP, the TMC on Sunday changed the leader of its ladies’ wing in Dakshin Dinajpur region where the episode had happened.
The party specialists declared delegating ancestral pioneer Snehalata Hembrom as the leader of its Dakshin Dinajpur region ladies’ wing instead of Pradipta Chakraborty, in whose presence the episode happened two days prior.
TMC representative Kunal Ghosh told correspondents in Kolkata that the party represented the nobility of tribals and ladies and firmly objected to any activity which might bring down their honor.
A video surfaced as of late purportedly showing three ancestral ladies doing ‘dandavat parikrama’ prior to joining the TMC from the BJP. The saffron party’s state president Sukanta Majumdar shared the video on his Twitter handle.
“We denounced the activity (of Pradipta) and eliminated her from the post. Arrangement of Hemborm, a focused famous ancestral lady head of the locale, reaffirms our obligation to the reason for Adivasi ladies,” TMC state representative Kunal Ghosh said.
He said the move is important for the general arrangement of the party to draft more ancestral ladies pioneers in driving hierarchical posts of the TMC.
On Friday night, three ancestral ladies who were before with the BJP visited the TMC office at Kathalpara in Balurghat town and got the party banner from Pradipta subsequent to doing ‘dandavat parikrama’ in the path prompting the party office.
