US Says Robot Needed To Collide With Dark Ocean After Harm From Russian Stream

Washington: The US military had to basically crash its MQ-9 Gatherer observation drone as a result of the harm caused when it was struck by a Russian fly, the Pentagon said on Tuesday.
“As a result of the harm, we were in a situation to need to basically collide with the Dark Ocean,” Brigadier General Pat Ryder told correspondents, adding that the robot was essentially unflyable after the harm.

As of now ryder said Russia had not recuperated the crashed drone.
