Airtel users across India faced disruptions on December 26 as the telecom giant experienced a widespread outage. The outage affected mobile and broadband services, leaving many users unable to make calls, access data, or use the internet.
According to the website status tracking tool Downdetector.com, users are having trouble accessing Airtel’s mobile and broadband services. According to Downdetector, around 46% of users experience total blackouts, 32% have no signal, and 22% have mobile connectivity issues.
The exact cause of the outage remains unclear at this time. Airtel has yet to issue an official statement regarding the disruption.
