Kartik Aaryan has struck gold with his latest film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Released on Diwali this year, the film survived a clash with Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again and emerged as the bigger winner. It managed to mint more money than the latest instalment in the Cop Universe, which featured names like Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, and Deepika Padukone.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has added another feather to its cap by crossing the Rs 250 crore mark at the box office. According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the film earned Rs 1 crore on Wednesday (its 27th day of release), bringing its total collection to ₹250.10 crore.
The film collected Rs158.25 crore in its first week, Rs58 crore in its second week, Rs23.25 crore in its third week, and Rs10.5 crore in its fourth week (up to Wednesday). The gap between Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again has also widened, with the former now leading by ₹8 crore.
This success has reignited Kartik Aaryan’s stardom, which had taken a hit due to the underwhelming performances of his recent films, including Shehzada, Satyaprem Ki Katha, and Chandu Champion. Kartik is now confirmed for Anurag Basu’s upcoming film, slated to go on floors in 2025.
In an exclusive interview with ETimes, Kartik shared his thoughts on his upcoming projects: “I’m in a space where I want to wait, analyze, and then decide what I’m going to do next. Earlier, I was doing a lot of things together. Now, I have calmed down and want to focus on fewer projects, dedicating myself completely to what I’m currently working on.”
