A fresh start for your online security comes with the dawn of a new year. Cybersecurity experts warn against using weak passwords, as they leave you vulnerable to hackers. An annual report by NordPass highlighted the most commonly used passwords in India, revealing that several of them can be cracked in seconds.
NordPass has reviewed and analysed a massive 2.5TB database compiled from publicly accessible sources, including the dark web. The data has been categorised by country of origin for detailed analysis. It primarily consists of passwords stolen through malware or exposed in data breaches.
