Munjal said that 2024 was an above average year in terms of business but Unacademy has not achieved its target. The good thing is that we have a huge runway. Announcing the bad news, Munjal said, “We will not be able to do any appraisal this year. I know I said two to three weeks ago that we will do the appraisal, but when we started the process, we realised we were wrong. I know it is difficult because some of you have not received an appraisal for two years.”
He said, although Unacademy’s offline business grew, it has not been as per expectations. There is no threat to the company’s existence. But yes, growth is a challenge. We are fighting many battles online and offline. People have made a lot of comments on this and have called Munjal good and bad for his expensive T-shirt and announcing no appraisal with a ridiculous reason.
