6 Sightseers From Haryana Killed After Transport Falls Into Canyon In Nainital

Dehradun: Six travelers were killed and 27 others were harmed when a transport fell into a trench in the Kaladhungi area of Nainital locale on Sunday. The transport was conveying sightseers from Haryana’s Hisar area.
As per the data got from the Nainital Region Control Room, the travelers were returning in the wake of visiting Nainital, when their transport fell into a 100-meter-profound canyon in the Nalni area of Kaladhungi.

Six sightseers kicked the bucket and 27 others were harmed in the mishap that occurred around 8 pm, as per the data.

There were 33 travelers on the transport at the hour of the mishap.

Police and State Calamity Reaction Power groups arrived at the spot and began salvage and help tasks.

Police said that the harmed have been removed from the trench and taken to the emergency clinic for treatment and the setbacks are being recognized.

The purposes behind the mishap are not known at this point.
