7 Kg Cocaine Worth ₹ 70 Crore Held onto At Mumbai Air terminal: Authorities

Mumbai: The Directorate of Income Knowledge (DRI) thwarted sneaking offers at Mumbai Global Air terminal and held onto 7 kg cocaine worth ₹ 70 crore by capturing four transporters, including two outside nationals, in discrete episodes, an authority said on Tuesday.
The Mumbai zonal unit of DRI likewise recuperated a firearm with five slugs from one of the denounced who couldn’t deliver authoritative records, he said. The weapon has been given over to the neighborhood police.

Every one of the four episodes were accounted for over the most recent two days.

A DRI group caught two people who were attempting to carry in cocaine by hiding it in misleading holes of their streetcar sacks, he said. Independently, it was found that four transporters had gulped (cocaine) drug containers. They were confessed to state-run JJ Clinic and containers were separated, he said.

In a subsequent activity, DRI authorities held onto opiate drugs (cocaine) from the home of a man in Virar in adjoining Palghar locale, the authority said, adding that it was carried from Nairobi through the Delhi air terminal.
