7 Killed, 40 Harmed In Fire At 7-Story Working In Mumbai’s Goregaon

Mumbai: Seven individuals were killed and north of 40 were harmed after a monstrous fire broke out at a 7-story working in Mumbai’s Goregaon today.
Out of the seven individuals who were killed in the fire, two were minors. Of the 40 individuals who were harmed, 12 were guys and 28 were females, including one minor.

The harmed were taken to two clinics, HBT Emergency clinic and Cooper Emergency clinic, in Mumbai.

The fire began around 3 am at Jay Bhavani working in Goregaon West’s Azad nagar territory, a Brihanmumbai Metropolitan Enterprise (BMC) said. The harmed occupants were taken to an ER in Jogeshwari and Cooper Emergency clinic in Juhu.

“Tormented to be aware of loss of lives in the fire occurrence at #Goregaon, Mumbai. We are in contact with BMC and Mumbai Police authorities and all the help is being given. My most profound sympathies to the families who lost their friends and family and wishing rapid recuperation to the harmed ones,” Maharashtra Vice president Pastor Devendra Fadnavis composed on X.

The fire covered the structure from all sides and torched shops, scrap material, vehicles, and different vehicles left on the ground floor.

The reason for the fire is still being scrutinized.
