Israeli powers have taken in excess of 1,000 individuals hostage in the conflict against Hamas in Gaza, Israel’s tactical boss said on Sunday.
Tending to troopers inside the besieged territory, Head of the General Staff Major-General Herzi Halevi said that when warriors “set out their arms and lift their hands, we capture them, we don’t shoot them”
“We get a great deal of knowledge from the hostages we have, we as of now have more than 1,000,” Halevi said in a video circulated by the military.
Halevi’s remarks came after troopers incidentally shot dead three Israeli prisoners who the military says were waving a white banner and attempting to be safeguarded.
