Mumbai man dies during a cricket match in the wake of being hit by a ball from another match

An unfortunate episode happened in Mumbai's Matunga region where a 52-year-elderly person lost his life while playing cricket.

A 52-year-old businessman died during a cricket match after being hit on the head by a ball from one more match in Mumbai’s Matunga.

The T20 match, held at the Matunga Gymkhana Dadkar ground, was essential for a competition coordinated by the Kutchi people group.

Jayesh Savla, who was handling for his group, was struck on the head by a ball from another match being played all the while on a similar ground. The effect made him break.

Various matches on a solitary ground are a typical sight in Mumbai, and players get harmed by balls from other matches on occasion. This is the main instance of such a mishap prompting demise during a match.

As per senior cop Deepak Chauhan, an Accidental Death Report (ADR) had been documented for this situation, and an examination was on. Jayesh Savla’s body was given over to his family after the post-mortem examination.
“Two matches were occurring on a similar ground, and keeping in mind that Savla was handling for his group, a ball that was hit by a batsman from another match unexpectedly hit him on his head since he fell oblivious,” the authority said.

Crisis administrations were expeditiously called, and Savla was raced to a close by medical clinic. He was pronounced doomed.

Jayesh Savla is made due by his better half and child.
