Mother and Father were exceptionally confident about a subsequent child. They took a sankalp (promise) and petitioned Bhagwati Maa (Hindu Goddess) for a very long time straight. They abstained, contemplated, performed pujas, havans (fire ceremonies), and went to otherworldly places and met profound individuals. However at that point I was conceived, upon the arrival of Diwali (Indian celebration of lights). Mumma thought of me as extremely fortunate and frequently called me Lakshmi-ji (Hindu Goddess revered on Diwali). They went on with their sadhna (practice) and continued to petition God for a child, and after a year, my younger sibling was conceived. Right all along, he was a charmer, entrancing everybody with his lovely grin and glimmering eyes. Thus, this little one was my ‘Pithiya’.”
