After their whipping by Madrid in the Super Cup last, the absolute minimum they required was to advance as questions twirl around the club and mentor Xavi Hernandez.

“We played well in parts, yet in others we need to play better, some of the time I despair since we don’t have the foggiest idea what we really want to,” Xavi told columnists.

“At the point when I express we’re in development, it’s that, that we need to do what we want each and every time.”

The hosts, at their stuffed 6,000 limit Reina Sofia arena, were started up and longing for a resentful after previously taking out Villarreal.

Unionistas struck first to stun Barcelona with the plain Gomez volleying home greatly following 31 minutes.
