Chennai Startup Agnikul Rocket Launch Successful – Agnibaan Rocket

Agnikul News Update: The Agnibaan rocket can carry up to 300 kg and reach a 700 km high circle. Agnikul Cosmos‘ Agnibaan Arranged rocket launched effectively from the startup’s private launchpad in Sriharikota on May 30.

Spacetech startup Agnikul Cosmos Rocket effectively launched the Agnibaan Arranged rocket from Sriharikota on May 30, putting behind four past attempts that were called off.

Arranged (SubOrbital Technological Demonstrator) is a single-stage rocket energized by a semi-cryogenic engine. Created in India, the vehicle was assembled at Agnikul’s facilities at IIT Madras, informed MoS – IT and Innovation, Rajeev Chandrasekhar.

Srinath Ravichandran, Agnikul Founder Cosmos, said, “This is the culmination of 1000s of long stretches of audits and hard work by the team. We are honoured to have had the open door and the full help of IN-SPACe and ISRO to plan and assemble original space-worthy hardware in India.”

The Agnibaan rocket is a testament to our technological ability. It can carry up to 300 kg of payload to a 700 km high circle. The intricacy of Agnikul’s rocket launch comes from the fact that the launch vehicle ‘Agnibaan Arranged’ is fueled by India’s most memorable semi-cryogenic engine. This groundbreaking innovation involves a blend of fluid and gas for fuel.

ISRO congratulated the Agnikul team on the effective mission. It said, “This is a major achievement, as the first controlled trip of a semi-cryogenic fluid engine realized through additive manufacturing.”

Space regulator Indian Space Authorization and Advancement Center (IN-SPACe) chairman Pawan Goenka called the achievement a ‘historic second for India’s space area’. Goenka said the launch was fueled by the ‘world’s most memorable single-piece 3D-printed semi-cryogenic engine’, showcasing the brilliance of India’s young innovators.

Agnikul Cosmos also operates India’s most memorable private launchpad in Sriharikota, which filled in as the launch site for this mission. Agnikul cosmos net worth is INR 473 Cr.

In the coming days, the startup is supposed to foray into commercial missions in Q3 of FY 2024-2025, according to space regulator IN-SPACe’s manifesto. The startup is also expected to direct launches in Q4 of FY 2024-2025.

“A remarkable feat which will make the whole nation glad! The fruitful launch of the Agnibaan rocket controlled by the world’s most memorable single-piece 3D printed semi-cryogenic engine is a pivotal occasion for India’s space area and a testament to the remarkable ingenuity of our Yuva Shakti.
