“China Remains Pacing Challenge…”: Top Pentagon Official

Washington: The US will keep on encouraging a more grounded guard organization with India, the Pentagon said on Friday.
“We especially value our relationship with India on a safeguard level. We keep on cultivating a more grounded safeguard organization with India and that is something that I think you’ll keep on seeing us do proceeding,” Pentagon Press Secretary Pat Ryder told correspondents at a news gathering here.

In 1997, protection exchange among India and the US was practically unimportant, today it remains above USD 20 billion.

Answering an inquiry, Ryder said China stays the “pacing challenge” for the Division of Guard.
