Groww app users unable to login as online trading platform faces glitch
Several Groww app users complained that they were unable to login and have suffered losses. The company has apologised for the inconvenience and said a team is working to resolve the issue promptly.
Online financial services platform Groww experienced a nearly hour-long outage during intraday trading on Tuesday, leaving users unable to log in.
The company reassured users that it is actively addressing a technical issue and working to resolve it promptly. Groww has apologized for the inconvenience and expressed gratitude for users’ patience, assuring them that normal operations would resume shortly.
“Hello! We apologize for the inconvenience. Our team is addressing a technical issue and working to resolve it promptly. Your patience is highly appreciated, and we’ll be back to normal operations shortly. Thank you for your understanding. Team Groww,” Groww said in response to a user’s post on X.
Users, facing challenges with accessing the Groww app for intraday trading, highlighted that they were unable to log in. “I think @_groww servers are down. Not able to log in. Anyone else facing this issue?” asked one user.
Some users even asked the company to pay for the losses they suffered. “Dear @_groww, it’s unfortunate that the app is crashed…suffered loss…Kindly pay me the compensation,” said another user.
Another user said: “Unable to login in #groww App! Never keep overnight positions, not coz Ur (your) trade can go wrong, but Ur (your) brokerage app can go down.”
Groww has not yet confirmed if the issue has been resolved, but posts on social media platform X indicate that they were still facing issues at the time of publishing this article.
