Named “Life: My Story Through History”, he explained that there is “no risk” of resigning despite speculations. Pope Francis quoted in the memoir, “I believe the pope’s ministry is ad vitam, for life,” and “I therefore see no justification for giving it up”.

Pope Francis is the first non-European pope since Gregory III in the 8th century. He accepted this position in 2013 at the age of 76 years. He became the 265th successor of Saint peter.

But it never occurred to me.”
