Popular YouTuber MrBeast, known for his outrageous stunts and giveaways, has revealed another mind-blowing project: a custom-built “city” for his upcoming reality show, “Beast Games.” MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, took to social media to share photos of the elaborate set.
The upcoming reality show
MrBeast has posted about the upcoming show on X (formerly known as Twitter). “We spent $14,000,000 building a city in a field for the contestants in Beast Games to live and compete in. December 19th is almost here,” reads the post on X, which also includes multiple photos of the custom-built city.

Reports suggest the “city,” built in Toronto according to CBC, is a complex designed to house over 1,000 contestants vying for a staggering $5 million prize in “Beast Games.” While details remain under wraps, the show’s trailer promises an “insane competition show” packed with “monster trucks, Navy SEALs, and daring stunts.”
Controversies around the show
Despite the excitement surrounding the show’s immense scale, “Beast Games” has also garnered controversy. Some former contestants have alleged mistreatment, claiming they received insufficient food and faced long delays for medication.
MrBeast, however, has defended the project, stating, “The goal is to make the best content possible, not make money.” While some fans laud the YouTuber’s ambition, others are sceptical about the show’s treatment of participants and its potential impact on reality TV.
