The International Olympics Committee (IOC) declared on Wednesday that Nita Ambani was officially unanimously re-elected as the IOC from India for the 142nd session, ahead of this weekend’s opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

Location
The 2024 Olympics will be held in the city of Paris, France. This is going to be the third time when the city shall be hosting the Games since doing so in 1900 and 1924.
Schedule
The Olympics 2024 is slated for this year from 26 July to 11 August 2024, including a wide array of traditional and new sports events. This would amount to 329 events in 39 sports, one of which is the first-ever, breaking—popularly known as break-dancing. Competitions will also occur as distant as Marseille and Tahiti.
Olympics 2024 Opening Ceremony
The opening ceremony will take place on July 26, 2024 at 1:30 PM E.T., along the River Seine in Paris. The ceremony is expected to go a little over 4 hours, culminating in a final show at the Trocadéro.

sports event Paris Olympics. For the first time ever, over half of the Indian team will compete in the quadrennial showcase in the French capital.
