On Tuesday, the Income Tax Department searched multiple locations linked to prominent filmmaker Dil Raju on charges of alleged tax evasion. The offices of Mythri Movie Makers and Pushpa 2 producers were also raided.

Sources revealed that raids were conducted across eight locations, including the homes of Dil Raju’s family members.
According to official sources, raids were conducted at locations connected to other filmmakers and their associates, not just Dil Raju, the chairman of Telangana Film Federation Development Corporation. Income Tax investigation officers searched Dil Raju’s residence in Ujas Villas in Jubilee Hills and other properties.
Raids were also conducted on ‘Pushpa 2′ producers Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar, and the offices of Mythri Movie Makers.
The raids were undertaken because the department was suspected of alleged tax evasion. They said multiple premises were being covered.
Dil Raju, officially known as Velamkucha Venkata Ramana Reddy, is a well-known figure in the Telugu film industry. He is the founder of Sri Venkateswara Creations, a renowned production house. The recent superhit film Game Changer, starring Ram Charan, was produced under this banner.
