The cyclone is currently located in the Arabian Sea, about 470 kilometers (292 miles) south of Karachi, Pakistan.
Biporjoy Cyclone Affected States in India areas in Gujarat
Cyclone Biporjoy has become a very severe cyclonic storm and is likely to make landfall in Gujarat by Thursday evening, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. And the Biporjoy Cyclone landfall time is estimated to be around 6:29 PM (IST). The cyclone is moving north-northeastwards and is likely to cross Saurashtra and Kutch and adjoining Pakistan coasts between Mandvi in Gujarat and Karachi in Pakistan near Jakhau Port (Gujarat) by Thursday evening as a very severe cyclonic storm with a maximum sustained wind speed of 125-135 km/h gusting up to 150 km/h.
Biporjoy Cyclone affected areas in Gujrat include Porbandar, Bhuj, Mahua, Okha and Dwarka in Saurashtra and Kutch, IMD said. The cyclone has increased its speed and is approaching fast towards the Gujarat coasts. IMD has sounded an alert in the area and PM Modi chaired a review meeting.

Several flights were cancelled in Mumbai as the cyclone impacted air traffic. It is advised not to travel by road, bus or train in Saurashtra and Kutch till further notice.
Renowned UAE astronaut Sultan Al-Neyadi shared stunning pictures of the cyclone from space. The cyclone has caused a lot of damage and the trees have been uprooted. Many electricity poles have also been uprooted. Even tin sheets which are used in house construction have been blown away.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has warned private TV channels not to broadcast live coverage of the cyclone in the affected areas. It has expressed concern that this could endanger the safety of reporters and cameramen deployed by the channels. The ministry has asked them to follow a set of guidelines for the same.
