A 14-year-old Palestinian boy was shot dead on Monday by Israeli Border Police officers in the West Bank town of al-Eizariya after he tried to stab one of them.

He was pronounced dead a short while later, said The Times of Israel.

The teenager was identified as a resident of East Jerusalem.

This incident comes days after Israeli commandos disguised as medical workers and Muslim women burst into a hospital in the West Bank and killed three Palestinians. According to The Times of Israel, more than 3,000 wanted Palestinians have been arrested across the West Bank since October 7 with more than 1,350 reportedly affiliated with Hamas.
