Woman’s live-in partner rapes her teen daughter in Delhi, arrested
A 29-year-old man, who was in a live-in relationship with a woman, allegedly raped her 14-year-old daughter. The accused was arrested and charged under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and POCSO Act.
A 14-year-old girl was supposedly raped by her mom’s kid live-in accomplice in Delhi, police said on Wednesday.
The wrongdoing occurred in north Delhi’s Burari region on July 23 last year and the charged, Ankit Yadav, an occupant of Loni in Ghaziabad, was captured.
The charge, a transport driver dealing with an agreement premise, had been living with the casualty’s mom for the beyond eight years. The mother had a child in this live-in relationship.
Police said the lady left her youngsters at home on July 23, 2023, during which Ankit Yadav exploited the unattended children and purportedly assaulted the young lady. The denounced undermined her and rehashed his wrongdoing a couple of times.
The lady had three kids from a past marriage. She detailed the making a difference to the police after coming to be familiar with the occurrence, it was made to follow which lawful move.
The clinical assessment and advising of the assault survivor has been finished, police said, adding that her assertion under segment 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) was recorded.
A case was enrolled under segments 376 (assault), and 506 (criminal terrorizing) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and arrangements of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, as indicated by the police.
The denounced was shipped off to legal care.
