Thieves have targeted a watch showroom, Sai Creation, in Ahinsa Khand-2 of Indirapuram, a posh area of Ghaziabad, where the thieves stole watches worth crores in the darkness of the night. This entire incident was captured using a CCTV camera installed inside the showroom. Police have formed three teams to solve this case and have started an investigation.
Police said that information was received about a theft incident in a showroom named Sai Creation, located in the Ahinsa Khand 2 area of the Indirapuram police station area. After receiving the information, the team reached the spot, and after investigation, it was found that the thieves had stolen watches worth crores from the showroom.
Police said that the gang of thieves targeted the showroom between Saturday night and Sunday morning. When the showroom owner saw the CCTV footage on his mobile before the showroom opened this morning, he was shocked. The showroom counters were empty, and watches worth crores of rupees on display were missing. In this entire case, showroom manager Mukund Sharma said that the price of the stolen watches is between 2 crores and 3 crores.
Three teams were formed for the investigation.
ACP Indirapuram Swatantra Kumar said that a complaint was received at the Indirapuram police station at around 11 am today, according to which Sai Creations, which is a watch showroom in the Kanavani Chowki area, was stolen by unknown thieves by lifting the shutter of the showroom. A case has been registered against the accused, and three teams have been formed to investigate the matter.
Meanwhile, showroom manager Mukund Sharma said that we had locked the showroom at night, but the shutter was bent from the outside when we came in the morning. He also said that the showroom owner checks the cameras on his phone every morning to see the timing of the camera, so he said that something has happened inside the showroom, so you guys should not open the showroom. After this, we called the police. There were watches of very expensive brands in our showroom, which the thieves took with them.
CCTV footage of this incident has also surfaced, in which the accused are seen committing the theft inside the showroom. The thieves were wearing masks on their faces while entering the showroom.
Two police officers were suspended.
Apart from this, two police officers have been suspended in the case of theft in Shyam Sundar Gupta’s watch showroom located between Shipra and Kanawani in Noida. Indirapuram police station in-charge Jitendra Dixit and Kanawani police post-in-charge Lal Chand Kanaujia have been suspended on charges of negligence in this case.
