Biden Urges House To Choose New Speaker Rapidly After Kevin McCarthy Eliminated

Washington: President Joe Biden needs the US Place of Delegates to quickly pick another speaker after Conservative Kevin McCarthy was hacked out by his own party, the White House said Tuesday.

“Since the dire difficulties confronting our country won’t stand by, he trusts the House will rapidly choose a speaker,” Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in a proclamation.
