Watch: Elephant Charges At Family’s Van, Crushes Window For Food In Sri Lanka

A family excursion in Sri Lanka took an exhilarating turn when they experienced a wild elephant in Yala Public Park. A tusker shocked the vacationers by rising up out of the trees and crushing through the van’s window for food.
Alarm flooded through the van as the elephant scrounged through the driver’s seat, its trunk testing for consumable fortunes. A video coursing on the web catches the strained second, showing the paper pack capitulating to the elephant’s strong trunk and its curious sniffing looking for additional tidbits.

In a frantic endeavor to mollify the inquisitive goliath, one of the travelers offered their bundle of chips. The elephant, quickly fulfilled, withdrew into the verdant wilderness.

“It began sniffing around our feet for food and the driver advised us to give it anything we had so I took care of it my child’s extra sandwich,” said Kasun Basnayake, an Australian making a trip to the public park with his loved ones.

“He advised me to toss the rest through the window so I did and the driver then figured out how to dash off… Those sandwiches and chips presumably saved our lives,” Mr Basnayake told the BBC.

There were no revealed losses in the occurrence.

Last year, a video of an elephant trumpeting without holding back while pursuing a safari jeep brimming with vacationers likewise became a web sensation on the web. The video shows the driver of the jeep turning around the vehicle instantly. After a couple of seconds, when the tusker surrenders and leaves into the wild, the travelers take a moan of help.
