After PBKS’ ‘Disarray’ At IPL 2024 Closeout Over ‘Wrong’ Shashank Singh, The Right Player Says: “It’s All…”

Towards the finish of the Indian Chief Association (IPL) 2024 sale, there was one specific bid that made a great deal of web-based entertainment storm. It was for uncapped Indian player Shashank Singh was roped in for Rs 20 lakh by Punjab Rulers. In any case, not long after he was picked in the sped up closeout, there appeared to be some disarray going by the tokens of Punjab Rulers co-proprietors Ness Wadia and Preity Zinta. At the point when Shashank’s name was raised, Preity Zinta raised the oar in the wake of examining the player with her group. The player was immediately sold as no other establishment bid for him, and the sledge went down.

As there appeared to be some disarray, barker Mallik Sagar said: “It was an off-base name? You don’t need the player?” asked Mallika. “We are discussing Shashank Singh. Be that as it may, the mallet has descended. Player No. 236 and 237 both went to you. I think the sledge has descended for 237 (Shashank) also,” she said.

Than occurrence prompted web-based entertainment storm on how Punjab Rulers didn’t need a player which it had recently purchased. Notwithstanding, Punjab Rulers on Wednesday gave an explanation: “Punjab Lords might want to explain that Shashank Singh was dependably on our objective rundown. The disarray was because of 2 players of a similar name being on the rundown. We are glad to have him installed and see him add to our prosperity.”

Then, at that point, Punjab Rulers’ Chief Satish Menon said: “Two players of comparative names on the IPL list made disarray. I’m more than happy to share that the right Shashank Singh has been onboarded. He has put out a few vital exhibitions, and we’re prepared to release his ability.”

Presently, Shashank Singh himself has answered the entire ‘disarray’. “It’s All Cool … Much thanks to you for Trusting on me!!!!” he composed on X.

A PBKS official let PTI on Wednesday know that the right player had been picked and he was being explored by the establishment for a long while.

“We have picked the right player. He was being explored by us for a long while. He is a 32-year-old player from Chhattisgarh who played for Sunrisers Hyderabad during the 2022 season,” said the PBKS official.

“Reports are mistaking him for a 19-year-old cricketer with a similar name.” Punjab Lords, previously Rulers XI Punjab, are one of the eight debut establishments of the IPL together possessed by Ness Wadia, Mohit Burman, Preity Zinta and Karan Paul. The group has never brought home an IPL championship.
